Francesca collaborated with her sister Hephzibah Rendle-Short in an exhibition called Non which was part of the Bedell NonfictioNow Conference. Their piece entitled ‘What do you want of me?’ was part object and image using material qualities stolen from a transparency, but also part diagram (email written text), writing (on walls), and performative enunciation (audience ‘reading’).
Francesca published a suite of poems – ‘Who’s counting 1’, ‘Who’s counting 2’, and ‘Who’s counting 3’ and ‘Counting is counting is counting’ – in Rabbit 6. More details here.
Francesca read from her essay ‘My father’s body’ at the launch of the collection The Invisible Thread, 100 years of Canberra writing.
