NonfictioNOW 2012

What do you want of me?

Francesca collaborated with her sister Hephzibah Rendle-Short (who is a painter) in an exhibition called what do you want of me? part of Non as part of the NonfictioNow Conference.

BRIEF: In the oscillation between figment and material form, this collaborative endeavour between sisters F and H creates a space for the uncertain status of subjectivity. Exfoliating out from a found 35mm slide transparency of their father a ‘scene of address’ is proposed. This is staged not only with objects and image using material qualities stolen from the transparency, but also with diagram (email written text), writing (on walls), and performative enunciation (reading).
